I think that everyone has their own preferences.....and I dont mind saying that I like that kind of stuff...
i've heard of opeth. and that's it.

maybe i should get into some metal, it's one of the few genres i don't really listen to.

and i don't listen to mainstream music for the most part.

in fact.... i'm going to go search a few of these on emusic.com right now. (which only has indie labels)

Well I knew most of these bands. I don't like enough of them to make a list that long.

Soilwork (A LOT)

Arch Enemy (A LOT)

wow, i've only heard of 8 of these bands, and MAYBE half of them i've actually listened to a couple of their songs. judging by the bands i know, i guessed that most of the other ones are metal bands, so of course i wouldn't know them, because my sister is the metal head in my family, i'm more of an old school rock kinda guy with a bit of alternative mixed in.
